Hi all! I recently took a blood test, and my Ca 19-9 level came back high. I looked it up and found it's related to cancer but not sure how it's related. Anyone can help?
Hey, a high Ca 19-9 is most likely associated with pancreatic cancer. However, it could also result from conditions like pancreatitis or liver disease. Do you have any related symptoms?
is right, it's mainly a marker for pancreatic cancer. However, it can also increase due to gastrointestinal and other cancers. It's best to consult with your doctor for accurate interpretations.
Completely agree and, it might also be due to non-cancerous conditions. It's crucial to get medical advice. Wishing you well,.
