Hi everyone! I've been trying to research about stomach cancer for a college project, but the different stages are a bit confusing. Can someone explain them to me?

To elaborate on 's reply, Stage 1 is when the cancer is limited to the stomach lining. Stage 2, it might've spread a bit further into deeper layers or nearby lymph nodes.

Right,. In Stage 3, cancer has usually spread further into the stomach tissues, more lymph nodes, or even nearby organs. And finally, Stage 4 is when it has spread to distant parts of the body like liver or lungs.
