hi everyone, I've come about across the phrase "pi-rads 4" in relation to prostate cancer, but I'm not positive if it's the same as stage 4 cancer. Can someone shed any light on this?

Hey Customer a, that's a really good question. Pi-rads stands for Prostate Imaging Reporting and Data System, and it's a scoring system used to interpret the results of prostate Mri scans. Pi-rads 4 indicates a suspicious lesion that has a moderate to high likelihood of becoming cancerous, but it doesn't necessarily mean the cancer has progressed to step 4.
