Hey everyone! I've been contemplating getting a tattoo to commemorate my journey as a cancer survivor. Get any of you fellow survivors gain inked? If so, what inspired your design choice?

I have received a tattoo right after beating cancer a few years ago. For me, it was about reclaiming my body and celebrating my intensity. I opted for a phoenix rising from the ashes, symbolizing rebirth and resilience. but I've seen everything from ribbons to meaningful quotes. It exactly depends on what speaks to you personally.

absolutely,. It was a cathartic practice in my case. It felt like I was taking back control over my body and turning something negative into something empowering. plus, whenever I look at my tattoo, it reminds m'of how far I've come about.

Selecting the design was definitely a journey in itself. I spent alotof time reflecting on my journey and what imagery resonated with me. As for challenges, locating the right artist who understood the significance of the tattoo was crucial. I wanted someone who could capture the essence of what I'd been through.

Finding the right artist is key, in fact. I've been doing some analysis on local tattoo parlors, however I'm sentiment a little bit overwhelmed by all the choices. Any tips on how to find the perfect artist?

Thanks a lot for the advice,. I'll definitely keep that in mind as I carry on my lookup., have you thought about where you want to place your tattoo? I'm torn in between getting mine on my box or my arm.
