Are skin Cancer Photos on the Ear a Cause for Concern?

I've seen those photos too,. They can be quite unsettling. I think it's crucial for everyone to be aware of the signs of skin cancer and to keep an eye out for any alterations in moles or spots on their skin, such as the ears. But how do we differentiate in between normal spots and potentially cancerous ones?
