The link between Constipation and Colon Cancer What Do We Need to Know?

I've on top read on this relation. It's fascinating still worrying at the same time. I surprise what truly it is on constipation that could potentially lead to colon cancer. Is it only the prolonged exposure of the colon to waste material?
