Hey everyone! I've heard a lot about the benefits of citrus fruits for skin well-being lately. Can anyone shed some light on whether they actually help prevent skin cancer?

That's an exciting topic! I've read some studies suggesting that the antioxidants in citrus fruits, like vitamin C, can help protect the skin from Uv hurt, which is a significant risk factor for skin cancer. but I'm not sure how conclusive the evidence is.

I'm no pundit, but I've seen any analysis indicating that certain compounds found in citrus fruits, such as limonene and flavonoids, may get protective effects against skin cancer. Nevertheless, I think more studies are needed to fully understand the mechanisms involved.

I've been trying to incorporate more citrus fruits into my diet lately, and while I can't speak for of course if it's had any hit my skin cancer risk, I get noticed that my skin appears healthier overall. It could be owing to the antioxidants or just the general boost in vitamin C intake.
