Hi everyone, I've come across the phrase "pi-rads 4" in relation to prostate cancer, but I'm not sure if it's thesameas step 4 cancer. Can somebody shed some light on this?

Pi-rads stands for Prostate Imaging Reporting and Information system, and it's a scoring system employed to interpret the results of prostate Mri scans. Pi-rads 4 suggests a suspicious lesion that has a moderate to high likelihood of currently being cancerous, but it doesn't always imply the cancer has progressed to stage 4.
