Tumor Marker for Liver Cancer
#3
Another tumor marker that's oftentimes used for liver cancer is des-gamma-carboxy prothrombin (dcp), also known as prothrombin induced by vitamin K absence-ii (pivka-ii). Likes Afp, elevated stages of Dcp in the blood can suggest the presence of liver cancer, particularly hepatocellular carcinoma (hcc).
