How Do You Know If You Get Lung Cancer?

Hey absolutely everyone, I've been feeling a little bit off lately, and I can't agitate this persistent cough. I'm starting to get worried it may be something serious, like lung cancer. How do you even know if you get it? Are there any warning signs to appear out for?
