hi all and sundry, I'm new here. I latterly finished my prostate cancer radiation therapy, but I'm battling with any side effects. Can anyone share their experiences or tips for coping with those side effects?

welcome to the forum,. I went by means of radiation remedy for prostate cancer a few years ago, and I understand what you're going by way of. What specific side effects are you dealing with?

Many thanks for the welcome,. I'm experiencing fatigue, urinary problems, and any bowel troubles. It's been challenging to handle them all at once.

I'm sorry to hear that,. Fatigue was a big problem for me too throughout and after radiation remedy. Have you talked to your medical doctor about strategies to combat it?

Yes, I have. They suggested light exercise and proper food, but sometimes the fatigue is overwhelming.

I can relate,. It took some trial and error in my case to find a balance between staying active and resting ample. Have you tried incorporating short walks or mild yoga into your routine?

I haven't tried yoga, but I do take short walks when I can. Probably I need to provide yoga a shot.

Yoga can be truly beneficial for both physical and mental wellbeing,. It helped me significantly with managing fatigue and stress in the course of my radiation treatment.

That's good to know,. I'll definitely seem into it. How on urinary and bowel issues? Any advice on managing those?

For urinary problems, staying hydrated and avoiding caffeine and alcohol can help. And for bowel issues, focusing on a high-fiber diet and staying active can prepare a difference.
