Hi there,. It's great that you're getting proactive on this. Alterations in the size, shape, or color of a mole or lump on your skin can indeed be warning signs of skin cancer. Have you considered scheduling an appointment with a dermatologist to get it checked out?

Hello absolutely everyone, I'm a dermatologist and I wanted to chime in., it's wise of you to be cautious on changes in your skin. When it is about to skin cancer, early detection is important. I would strongly recommend making an appointment with a dermatologist as soon as attainable. They can perform a thorough examination and, if necessary, a biopsy to determine whether the lump is cancerous.
