What Fuels Triple-negative Breast Cancer?
#1
I've been reading about triple-negative breast cancer (tnbc) and its aggressiveness. Can anyone explain what fuels this type of cancer?

Tnbc is fueled by a lack of estrogen, progesterone, and Her2 receptors, which makes it different from other breast cancers. The exact causes are still under research, but certain genetic mutations, like Brca1, are linked to Tnbc.

It's also worth mentioning that lifestyle factors, like diet and exercise, can play a role in cancer risk, but they aren't direct causes. There's a lot of ongoing research to understand Tnbc better.

That's interesting. I've also heard about the role of inflammation in cancer progression. Is that relevant to Tnbc?

Absolutely! Chronic inflammation can contribute to cancer development, including Tnbc. It's a complex interplay of genetics, environment, and lifestyle factors.
